A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

Chain reaction refers to an automatic and continuous fission reaction, in which the uranium-235 nucleus absorbs one neutron and undergoes fission, releasing 2-3 secondary neutrons to cause another 2-3 uranium-235 nuclei to undergo fission, allowing the fission to continue. This process rapidly expands, leading to the fission of the entire uranium block, releasing enormous energy. Chain reactions can continuously supply a large amount of neutrons required for nuclear fission, which is a necessary condition for the operation of reactors.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Nuclear fission is a nuclear reaction in which an atomic nucleus splits into two or more smaller nuclei and releases energy. When a uranium-235 nucleus is struck by a neutron, it splits into two smaller nuclei, such as a barium nucleus, a krypton nucleus, and two or three neutrons. These additional neutrons will collide with other surrounding uranium-235 atoms, which will also undergo a multiplication effect to split and produce additional neutrons, resulting in a chain reaction in an instant. Every time a reaction occurs, there is a release of energy in the form of heat and radiation. The released heat can be converted into electrical energy in nuclear power plants. In pure natural uranium, only 0.71% of uranium-235 can undergo fission reaction under thermal neutron bombardment, while 99.27% of uranium-238 will not undergo fission reaction under thermal neutron bombardment. Therefore, to be used as fuel for nuclear power plants, it is necessary to enrich uranium-235 through technology, but this process is very difficult.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
