A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

The characteristics of polarized light were revealed through a competitive maze game played with small balls. The exhibit features a desktop mesh maze made of transparent acrylic, with an array of acrylic transparent pipes arranged horizontally and vertically. There are obstacles inside the pipes, some of which are real obstacles, while others are obstacles formed by the stacking of polarizer plates in the wrong direction. In fact, they are illusions caused by polarizer plates. Target audience: Adolescents aged 6-15. Display format: Electromechanical interactive device operation instructions (audience experience) 1 Four audience members use strong magnets to attach iron beads under the glass, allowing the beads to move towards their determined path from their respective starting points, and see who can quickly guide the beads into the central target culvert. When the beads enter the culvert, cheers and applause will be heard. 2. The iron beads that fall into the culvert will return to the ball return hole on the lower side of the booth and be placed back into the starting point by visitors. Polarization of descriptions of the intrinsic connections between storylines and exhibits.
Interaction type: Interactive installation. The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
The vibration direction of natural light is in all directions. The light waves passing through a polarizer and vibrating along a specific direction on a plane perpendicular to the propagation direction are called polarized light. Polarizers are made of specific materials, and each polarizer has a specific direction. Only light waves vibrating along this direction can pass through the polarizer smoothly, which is called the "transmission direction". Two polarizing plates with perpendicular transmission directions have a filtering effect on general light. Two polarizing films are attached to the inner walls of the left and right parts of the glass tube in the maze, and their polarization directions are perpendicular to each other, so light cannot pass through. Therefore, it looks like there is a "black wall" in the middle of the tube. Reference materials.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
