01 / Overview

From the global distribution of tropical rainforests to Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, gain a comprehensive understanding of rainforests. Interpret and promote the importance of tropical rainforests, the kidney of the earth, etc; Understand the biodiversity of Hainan's tropical rainforest, including animals, plants, microorganisms, and more. Regularly play videos about understanding the rainforest. The tropical rainforest region has a hot climate and abundant rainfall throughout the year, with minimal seasonal differences. In most areas of the world where tropical rainforests are distributed, the average annual temperature is generally above 26 ° C, with an average monthly temperature exceeding 18 ° C throughout the year, and the total annual rainfall is above 2000mm. Temperature and rainfall are two important factors that determine the distribution of rainforests. Generally speaking, the factor that divides the horizontal distribution boundary of rainforests is rainfall, and the factor that divides the vertical distribution boundary of rainforests is temperature. The Hainan tropical rainforest is the most concentrated, diverse, well preserved, and contiguous continental island type tropical rainforest in China, representing island type tropical rainforests and tropical biodiversity.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
