01 / Overview

The Earth provides a living environment for life species, determining their evolutionary status and direction, but the emergence of life species has also changed certain aspects of the Earth's state.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

The Earth provides a living environment for life species, determining their evolutionary status and direction, but the emergence of life species has also changed certain aspects of the Earth's state. 1. The earliest carvers on Earth were fungi, and some archaeal species were responsible for the biogenesis of methane, a greenhouse gas that can warm the climate. 2. Blue algae can carry out photosynthesis, converting carbon dioxide and water into organic matter while releasing oxygen. It is the presence of oxygen that has inspired the evolution of other forms of life. The emergence of oxygen leads to the formation of the ozone layer, which protects the Earth's surface from the most harmful rays of the sun. The existence of this layer fundamentally changes the environment in which life forms subsequently evolve on land. The ozone layer is the protective umbrella for life on Earth because it absorbs harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun. The five large-scale mass extinction events that have occurred on Earth, although the causes of extinction are different, have occurred during disasters.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
