A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

Since the Industrial Revolution, the world has warmed by 1 ℃. If the Earth heats up by 2 ℃, 3 ℃, or even 4 ℃, it will bring a series of serious environmental and social impacts, and the vast majority of areas will become deserts where humans cannot live.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Since the Industrial Revolution, the world has warmed by 1 ℃. The Paris Climate Agreement calls for limiting warming to 2 ℃, as a 2 ℃ increase in global temperature would lead to the death of tropical coral reefs and a rise in sea levels by several meters. If the Earth warms by 3 ℃, the forests and most coastal cities in the Arctic will no longer exist. The Earth will heat up by 4 ℃, Europe will be forever dry, most parts of China and India will become deserts, and the United States will no longer be suitable for human habitation. The global temperature has risen by 1.1 ° C, and various regions around the world are facing unprecedented climate system changes, from rising sea levels, frequent extreme weather events to rapid melting of sea ice. The further rise in temperature will further exacerbate these changes. For example, for every 0.5 ° C increase in global temperature, extreme high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and regional droughts will become more frequent and severe. In the absence of significant human activity, heat waves only occur once every 10 years on average.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
Other models from the Earth & Ecology line, all held to the same specification and the same control package.
