In the theory of plate tectonics, the three basic ways of plate movement include: 1. divergent boundary (tensional boundary) where two plates separate from each other, often accompanied by seafloor expansion and volcanic activity. For example, in the mid ocean ridges, new crustal material continuously emerges from the mantle, forming new oceanic crust that causes plates to expand to both sides. 2. Convergent boundary (convergent boundary): Two plates collide with each other. When the oceanic plate collides with the continental plate, the oceanic plate subducts beneath the continental plate, forming terrain such as trenches. When two continental plates collide, they will squeeze and uplift, forming tall mountain ranges. 3. Transition boundary (displaced boundary): The sliding boundary between plates often experiences earthquakes, but this has limited impact on terrain shaping. In these areas, plate friction leads to energy accumulation, which can trigger earthquake release when accumulated to a certain extent. Although a single earthquake causes minimal changes in terrain, the accumulation of multiple earthquakes can still have a significant impact on the local terrain. plate.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
There are three types of relative motion between plates: aggregation, tension, and conservative (displacement). Therefore, plate boundaries can be divided into three types: aggregation type plate boundaries, tension type plate boundaries, and displacement type plate boundaries. The movement of Earth's plates has the following characteristics: 1. The plates are in relative motion, 2. The speed of the plates is slow, 3. The directions of plate movement are diverse, and 4. Plate boundaries are important locations for seismic, volcanic, and geological tectonic activity. During the process of moving continental plates, plate tectonics may also create diverse ecological environments and promote biological evolution.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
