01 / Overview

This exhibit consists of a simulated flight cabin, display screen, joystick, and 6-degree-of-freedom motion platform, providing a highly immersive flying experience. Based on the fundamental scientific principles of flight, visitors can sit in a simulated flight cabin and immerse themselves in a realistic virtual flight environment. The 6-degree-of-freedom motion platform will simulate the turbulence and acceleration during flight, providing a more realistic experience. And by manipulating the controller, an aircraft can be controlled from taxiing to takeoff, freely changing its direction and speed according to the aircraft, realizing the dream of flying in the blue sky.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

Airplane piloting is a complex and precise process, where pilots control the control devices in the cockpit to adjust the flight status of the aircraft, ensuring the safety and stability of the journey. Pilots need to flexibly adjust their flight path based on real-time flight data such as speed, altitude, direction, and weather changes. Especially in complex weather or unexpected situations, the pilot's ability to adapt is crucial, requiring continuous monitoring and adjustment to ensure smooth flight of the aircraft. Next, you will enter the flight simulation cabin to experience every operational detail in high altitude and experience how pilots cope with rapidly changing flight environments.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
