Experience a journey of ocean exploration from canoes to deep-sea explorers, witnessing the evolution of humanity from surface navigation to deep sea exploration. From ancient wooden boats to modern deep-sea exploration technology, learn about the development of water and underwater transportation and their impact on civilization. Join us and explore the continuous exploration and discovery between humans and water bodies, from rivers to oceans. The Invention of Wooden Boats (Neolithic Age): Ancient people used tree trunks to build wooden boats as the initial means of water transportation, facilitating fishing, trade, and migration. The Invention of Steamship (1783) In 1783, the first practical steamship was launched, marking the arrival of the modern era of shipping. The popularity of steamships (mid-19th century) made them the mainstay of maritime transportation, significantly improving the speed and efficiency of shipping and promoting the prosperity of international trade. The invention of submarines (late 19th century) enabled humans to explore the deep sea and opened up ocean research.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Looking back at the evolution history of waterway transportation, starting from multiple milestone nodes in the evolution of waterway transportation vehicles, popularizing the prominent changes in power, energy, materials, and shapes at different stages, and allowing visitors to understand the evolution history of waterway transportation vehicles and their impact on human civilization. Rafts and canoes: The earliest water transportation vehicles were rafts and canoes built using wood. These simple boats are used to cross rivers, lakes, and shallow water areas, providing basic water mobility. Steamship: The invention of the steam engine had a revolutionary impact on water transportation. Steamboats use steam engines to drive their wheels, eliminating the need for wind or manpower and greatly increasing their speed and carrying capacity. The emergence of steamships greatly improved the efficiency of long-distance sea travel and trade. Internal combustion engine ships: In the early 20th century, the application of internal combustion engines made gasoline and diesel power mainstream. Internal combustion engine ships have replaced steamships, providing higher speeds and greater flexibility.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
Other models from the City & Society line, all held to the same specification and the same control package.

Blade pitch adjusted by hand with thrust read on a live gauge.

Time four signals so a bus crosses the city without stopping.

Load a hull until it floats and then until it does not.

Road-side sensing, lane markings and vehicle communication in one model.
Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
